Help Us Help Her!
Proceeds from Fun Runs enabled us to help women veterans connect with each other, find jobs, register for her benefits, transition from military to career, start her business, and go to school. Proceeds from the Fun Run also help us give small business awards to women veteran business owners. We owe it to these women who volunteered to join the military to protect OUR freedoms. We hope that you will continue to support them and help us get the word out by sharing on your social media to family and friends.
We will acknowledge the 75th anniversary of the Armed Forces Integration Act that enabled women to serve as permanent, regular members of the armed forces in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and the recently formed Air Force. Prior to this act, women, with the exception of nurses, served in the military only in times of war.
